Developing Each Child One at a Time

Our low student to teacher ratio provides for a high teacher student relationship, small classes and individual personalised attention leading to a happy and confident individual.

Sri Ara Schools recognises that students come to us with a variety of learning styles, academic abilities and cultural experiences. We believe that they learn best in a secure, caring and stimulating environment, and we try to grow them further based on these traits. We strongly believe and teach on the basis that every child is a unique individual with the potential to become a leader, that each child develops at his or her own pace and that it takes a community to develop each child.

Our programme is designed to develop your children in a holistic manner, moulding them into independent individuals.

We believe that in order for students to become responsible and positive members of society, we must provide for their intellectual, physical, aesthetic, creative, emotional and social development.

A friendly learning environment can help to promote a child’s thinking, making learning fun.

A child with talent has to be one with discipline in order to succeed in the future.

Most teachers care about imparting knowledge to students. But the best teachers establish a trusting and caring connection with their students.

Every individual is able to learn concepts and new things, but the way in which they learn is always different. We accommodate these differences in individuals.

Interpersonal relationships between teachers and students contribute to learning and is essential for the healthy development of each students.

We make learning language more related to the daily life of the students.

This morning, we took the body temperature of our students to monitor their health. This will be done for the next 10 days as per suggestion by the Department of Health.

If any of the students or member of staff is found to have a high temperature (37.5°C and above), we will advise them to go home and see the doctor.

At the school's request, an inspection was carried out by inspectors from the Health Department. We were advised to close for 3 days for complete sanitisation of premises. During the 3 days, the teachers came to do their part.

Precautionary steps as per suggested by the health officers were taken and will continue for the next 10 days. We will also be monitoring the students body temperature daily during this time.

Parents are advised to do the same at home.
